Bosnia 20 Years After the War

This year marks 20 years since the end of the war in former Yugoslavia and the agreement of the Dayton Accord. Bosnia was hit hard in so many ways, and women were victims of the war, victims of sexual violence and grave mistreatment. Has the 20 years that have passed in any way given women visibility and compensation? Have the perpetrators been punished? How is Bosnia and Herzegovina for women today?

Panel discussion with:

  • Vanja Matic – Gender Officer, OSCE Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Ingrid Vik – Head of Unit, Analysis and Research, FOKUS, former director Nansen Dialog
  • Inger Skjelsbæk – Research Professor, PRIO
  • Moderated by Gro Lindstad – Executive Director at FOKUS

A light breakfast will be served at 08:45. This seminar is organised jointly by FOKUS and PRIO.
