Peace and conflict was the theme of the Norwegian National Science Days 2021. PRIO organized several events and PRIO researchers also took part in other events during the ten days long event. Most of the events were in Norwegian.

On Tuesday the 28th of September Skjelsbæk presented findings from the book Gender Equality and Nation Branding in the Nordic Region released earlier this spring on an event on branding in Norwegian foreign policy.

On Wednesday the 29th of September Skjelsbæk was on a student pub discussing “How do we research war and peace?”. The panel representatives were from psychology, history, philosophy, and political science, demonstrating the breadth of the field. Thank you to the PECOS and MITRA students for attending this event and for a very engaging discussion about peace research.
