Kelly Fisher participated in a workshop on November 17th, which focused on mapping out what we know about men and boys who experience sexual violence during conflict and displacement.

The workshop was organized by several Oslo organizations including Mental Health and Human Rights Info (HHRI), REFORM, and Skeiv Verden and the ideas generated from the workshop will be included in a handbook that is being created for those who work practically with refugee men and boys in Norway. Based on previous work experiences with refugees along the U.S. Mexico Border, and knowledge from his research on men and masculinities in migration processes, Kelly contributed both from a practical and theoretical perspective.
