PRIO welcomes you to a Book Launch Seminar for Inger Skjelsbæk's new Book: The Political Psychology of War Rape. Studies from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The book is a comprehensive account of the Bosnian experiences and provides a framework for the understanding of war rape and its impact on individuals, families and communities. The volume broadens the conceptualization of victimhood and challenges many assumptions about the impact of rape. Skjelsbæk demonstrates that there are many and varied voices which provide insight and understanding into the relationship between gender, sexuality and politics.
