On March 14th, a group of researchers from the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) participated in a roundtable in Oslo with HM King Abdullah II of Jordan and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, exchanging perspectives on a broad agenda covering security, peace, and inclusion in the MENA region.

PRIO GPS Centre Director Torunn L. Tryggestad gave a brief introduction to how the MENA region is scoring on the Women, Peace and Security Index, while also acknowledging Jordan's important role in the region in developing and implementing a national action plan on WPS.
