In January and February, the PRIO GPS Centre – as operational partner to the Nordic Women Mediators (NWM) – contributed to organizing a series of monthly lectures for NWM members, with the aim of providing insights on ongoing peace processes and peacebuilding efforts.
On 25 January, the PRIO GPS Centre contributed to a closed lecture with Ingibjörg Gisladottir, DSRSG UNAMI (Iraq). This lecture was the second in a series of monthly lectures organized for NWM members.
On February 22, the PRIO GPS Centre also contributed to organizing a closed lecture with Mette Knudsen, DSRSG UNAMA, on the situation for women in Afghanistan following the talks with Taliban in Oslo. This lecture was the third in a series of monthly lectures organized for NWM members.
