Between April 2024 and May 2025, Julia Palik will be a fellow in the Gender and Disarmament and Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programmes at United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). Julia will continue conducting research on disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration (DDR) programs’ impact on peace, as well as the gendered aspects of these programs at UNIDIR and engage with DDR and gender practitioners.
