On 14 October, Torunn L. Tryggestad was invited as a guest speaker at the 30th anniversary celebration of FOKUS – Forum for Women and Development, the Norwegian civil society organisation dedicated to advancing women’s rights globally.
The event brought together members of FOKUS, representatives from other civil society organisations, and government officials. Tryggestad spoke on “The Women, Peace and Security Agenda at 25”, highlighting the role of the international women’s movement in advancing the agenda. She was also interviewed for an article on WPS in FOKUS’ anniversary publication.
