Lead researcher on an OSCE study that compares the development of National Action Plans (NAPs) regarding the implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. The aim of the study is to compare different NAPs and provide a toolkit for other countries within the region which are working on their own plans.
I have recently handed in my PhD studying the effects of civil war on maternal and child health. The PhD focuses on sub-Saharan Africa, and I combine cross-country studies with DHS data with field work from two different locations in South Sudan (Juba and Magwe).
